Making GS 2 notes
Making notes usually means reading a book, then current affairs, then reports, then topper copies, each in a different place. This video makes a two-page note on pressure groups in one place: the GS 2 syllabus and its Mains PYQs, Learn to Write for structure, topper answers to check the note, and CA Tracker Pro for current affairs.

Steps
- Open GS 2 and go to Syllabus. Choose UPSC's own order or the thematic one, and pick the topic.
- Sort the Mains PYQs by similarity. A question marked "6 similar" has come up six times, so it is worth a note.
- Open Learn to Write on the question. Read the question in plain words, pick an introduction, and take the body's structure into your note: types of pressure groups, how they work, the challenges they face.
- Open Topper questions and check your note against the answers. Each one opens on the page where the topper's answer begins. Star the answers you want to come back to.
- Open CA Tracker Pro, go to Polity, and search "pressure groups". Add recent examples to the note, such as NASSCOM pushing back on a government advisory.
